It’s not very often that a wedding cinematographer gets the opportunity to capture the wedding of a very talented wedding photographer, but earlier this year I was honored to film Heath & Sara’s (of Sara Mac Photography fame) wedding. Since meeting Sara at WPPI in 2013, she has become a good friend that I always enjoy getting together with.

I know this is might sound strange, but my favorite moment of this wedding day was early on, well before Sara had her make up finished. At WPPI 2013, I met and awesome dude by the name of Casey who owns Nicholas & Keaton, a wedding cinematography team from Knoxville, TN.  Casey, who Sara knew from her days living in Tennessee, contacted me and asked if I needed a 2nd for the day – his only condition was that it be kept a secret. I might have been a few minutes late, but this reaction was SO worth it:
