Even though Evan and Mallory are getting married January 3, 2015, I consider theirs my last of 2014, and I couldn’t be more excited. I’ve had their wedding on the books for quite a while, and I’m so looking forward to spending this special day with them!

From the Couple:
Evan and Mallory met in orchestra class during high school.  On the first day of orchestra during Evan’s Junior year and Mallory’s senior year, Evan was without a stand partner.  Mallory ended up joining Evan in the front where they started talking.  Eventually Evan asked Mallory on a date to the movies around Thanksgiving and ended up spending Christmas with her family the following month.  They officially began dating in January 2009 and have been happily dating ever since.

On Saturday, December 15, 2012, the night started out with dinner at Larkspur in Old Town, Wichita.  After dinner, Evan drove Mallory out to Botanica Gardens for Illumations, their Christmas light display.  They walked around the gardens and ended their tour out on the boardwalk.  Mallory looked across the lake and saw the sign that Evan had made which said “Mallory Marry Me?”  Evan got down on one knee and proposed.  She said yes and then was surprised by the waiting limousine outside of Botanica, in which they celebrated their engagement by taking a Christmas light tour of the city.
