“Babe, I just can’t wait for the rest of our story to begin…” Beautiful words written by Mariana to Daniel on their wedding day. I am proud to present to you Daniel & Marian’s wedding film:
Below you will find comments from Daniel & Mariana about their wedding day:
What was your most memorable moment of the day?
Daniel: would have to say it was when they open the doors to see my wife for the first time. She looked absolutely breathtaking, so much that I had to hold myself back from getting a little emotional.
Mariana: would have to say it was the moment we both made eye contact with each other for the first time. In that moment I realized it was the beginning of our future together.
What was the biggest challenge you had to overcome while planning your wedding? Family, with so much family from the Mexico we could not decide whether to have our wedding here of there but in the end we chose to have it here.
What was most important to you when you were wedding planning? Never loosing sight of what this was about, us. It is very easy to get caught up in the this and that’s which are usually not that important. We wanted it to be personalized to each others eclectic personalities yet try to be organized as much as possible.
Tell us about any meaning detail/special moment(s) during your ceremony. For the both of us it was definitely when both of our parents stood at our side and placed the Lasso over us giving us both their blessings. (The Lasso is symbolic of our love which binds us together everyday as we equally share the responsibility of marriage for the rest of our lives.)
Tell us about meaning detail(s) during your reception. Our maid of honor Norma, best man Nelson, and Tommy (her brother) had very touching speeches. Also, our first dance with our parents was an absolute blessing. It was a very emotional moment that we are going to cherish forever.
Tell us about finding your wedding dress. I had a certain style in a mind and I ended up with something totally different. Always walk in with an open mind because you never know what dress you might try on and just might take your breath away. The Dress Gallery did an absolute wonderful job helping with my indecisiveness and i’d like to thank all my girls for being there to support me.
What advice do you have for couples currently planning a wedding? PLAN, PLAN, PLAN! Make the planning fun and adventurous and don’t wait till the last minute, it creates unnecessary tension for you and your significant other. If not in your budget, find a way to put a Wedding Planner in your budget. We thought we had everything pretty organized until we had a couple meetings with Faith from Bel Amour Events. I believe she was an angel that was sent from up above. She literally gave us “Faith” that everything was going to be just fine. She made sure we did not have to worry about anything except bringing ourselves to the alter. The only thing your wedding party should have to worry about is having fun. There was no greater feeling then being able to enjoy every moment of our wedding and not having to worry or stress about what was next on the agenda. Thank you thank you Faith.
What’s next for you as a couple? What are you most looking forward to about married life? We are currently expecting a baby and can not wait for our bundle of joy. We hope to continue growing our family and making silly memories with our silly, wild children.
Thank you again for trusting me to capture your wedding day – I am honored!!
Enjoy! Nick
