Chad, one of Gil’s closet friends and officiant, shared a little bit of the couples journey on their wedding day, “From the moment the locked eyes on each other in high school… and Kylee specifically asked me… to point out that [she] did not like [him] in high school, or when their paths reconnected at the party in KU to now where their worlds have finally collided. From rival high schools in Maize and Hutch, or Johnson County Community College to Hutch Community College, or Nashville to Manhattan or Chicago to Wichita… and now… finally… in the same city… playing on the same team… and after today wearing the same Rehwinkel jersey. Love is such and adventure and God’s story is so, so good.”

Their relationship really started with a late night Twitter message which ultimately led to this amazing, God centered ceremony at Spurce Mountain Ranch in Colorado. Gil and Kylee are genuine people, and we were so honored to be a part of their wedding.
